How does Hair Removal with elōs work?
Hair follicles are precisely targeted and destroyed using the revolutionary elōs combination of Bi-polar Radio Frequency and Light energies.
What are the benefits of combined energies?
All other laser hair removal technologies only use light energy. High intensities of light must be used to destroy the hair follicles. Since light is attracted to melanin (present in hair and skin) some of the heat is lost on the skin, rather than on the hair follicles. There are two downsides to this: there is a waste of energy that should be targeted only to the hair follicles, and heat on the surface can be damaging to the skin. Having the combined energies allows us to use less light energy and target all the Bi-polar RF energy directly on the hair follicles, causing the targeted area to heat up fives times more. This unique technology allows you to see results faster in the safest and most comfortable way.
Can gray and blonde colored hair and fine hair also be treated with elōs?
YES! Only elōs is proven to remove lighter colored hair, thanks to its combined energies. To achieve successful outcome, more treatments may be needed compared to darker hair colours. Hair growth is reduced after each treatment. The number of treatments required will be based on your hair color, body area, and skin tone.
Does it hurt?
No. elōs is known for its gentle and safe treatments. Since the energy is mostly targeted on the hair follicles and not the surface of the skin, the procedure is very comfortable. In addition to the gentle features of this technology, our clinic also has an extra cooling system that numbs the surface of the skin ensuring the most comfort.
